Frozen Ocean Perch Fillets

Our frozen ocean perch fillets are very meaty and tasty. Each pack has two fillets for $9.00. They are perfect for grilling, pan frying, baking and more. Ocean perch has a mild, slightly sweet flavor and is a long-time favorite for fish fry dinners.

How to Cook Ocean Perch

  • Pan-fried: dredge in seasoned flour and fry in butter and oil 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Baked: brush with butter, add paprika and lemon, and bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Grilled: cook on oiled foil or a grill basket so the fillets do not stick.
  • Fish fry: batter and deep fry at 350 to 375°F until golden.

Cook until the fish is opaque and flakes easily (145°F).

Thawing Tips

Thaw overnight in the refrigerator, or keep the fillets sealed and submerge in cold water for 30 to 60 minutes. Pat dry before cooking for a crisp finish.

Storage

Keep frozen until you need it. Once thawed, cook within one to two days and do not refreeze.
